Mentorship

The UCalgary Technology Law Association (CalTech) is working towards connecting students with mentors and the larger tech law community. We believe that mentorship is an important step in a legal education that builds towards a fulfilling legal career.

Caltech has partnered with the CBA Alberta Student Mentor Program to facilitate tech law mentorship matches

Connect with a Mentor

Whether you are a passionate legal “techie” or you are just interested in learning about new areas of the law, finding a mentor can be a great way to network, gain real world experience and learn more.

Signup with the CBA’s Student Mentorship Program as a Caltech member this fall to kick start your legal career. Email Lawtech@ucalgary.ca for more information.

Become a Mentor

We are calling on all tech lawyers to guide the next generation through the growing field of tech law. Becoming a mentor is a rewarding opportunity to assist in the development of students, share your specialized knowledge and challenge your own personal growth and understanding.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor or are interested in speaking to eager law students, please email us at LawTech@UCalgary.ca and signup for the CBA’s Student Mentorship Program.

Caltech is hosting an in person Mentorship Networking Night, January 24th, 2022. This will be a great opportunity for students, mentors, tech lawyers and industry to connect and have fun.
